Carlene White Winans of Balinger, formerly of Uvalde, passed away on November 7, 2021, at Ballenger Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ballenger, Texas. She was born on July 6, 1931, in San Marcos, Texas to Carl Luther and Mildred (Waller) White.
She is survived by her son, Rodger Winans and wife, Kay of Balinger; stepdaughter, Margaret Rose Lawton of Katy and stepson, Arthur Winans of Florence; brother, Hickman White of San Antonio; and numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Christine Stanford; and brothers, Red White and her twin brother, Carl White, Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
