Beryl Jones

Beryl Harriett Jones of Utopia passed away on January 24, 2015 at the age of 90. She was born on September 9, 1924 in Leakey, TX to William Robert Terry and Josephine Sandel Terry. She married Edward Allen Jones in Leakey on August 30, 1942. He preceded her in death in 2003. She is survived a daughter, Nancy Rhodes of Utopia; son, Terry Jones and wife JoAnne of San Antonio; sister, Barbara Davenport and husband, Jim of Houston; two nephews, Jimmy Davenport of Dallas and Greg Davenport of Houston; five grandchildren, Kathryn Jones-Herron, Chase Edward Jones, Rachael Rhodes, Michael Rhodes, and Kelli Rhodes; and two great-grandchildren, Blossom Lewis and Scarlett Lewis. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Viewing will begin on January 31, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Utopia Church of Christ followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Waresville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Rhodes, Chase Jones, Paul Bullock, Nic Smith, and Brandon Daniels.
