Benito Vasquez

Benito G. Vasquez of Batesville, Texas passed on February 12, 2022, at Texas Vista Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 84.  He was born on February 17, 1937, in Batesville, Texas to Angel Vasquez and Roberta Vasquez.

He is survived by his wife, Magdalena Vasquez of Batesville, Texas; sons, Benito Vasquez Jr. of Carrizo Springs, Texas, Jose Luis Vasquez of Knippa, Texas, Erasmo Vasquez of Idaho, Alfonso Vasquez of Carrizo Springs, Texas, and Gumaro Vasquez of La Pryor, Texas; daughters, Margarita Sambrano of La Pryor, Texas, Raquela Vasquez of Batesville, Texas, Isabel Vasquez of Batesville, Texas, Nora Vasquez of Idaho, and Marybelle Vasquez of Batesville, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Delma Vasquez, brother, Ramon Vasquez, and sister, Ester Garza.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Interment will follow at Batesville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Vasquez, Erasmo Vasquez, Gumaro Vasquez, Alex Garza, Eli Cardona, and Juan Daniel Vasquez.
