Arturo Macias Menchaca

Arturo Macias Menchaca, 62, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on June 12, 2025, at Northeast Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service  at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

He was born on November 11, 1962, in Hart, Texas to Maria Trinidad (Macias) and Miguel Diaz Menchaca.

He married Anna Granado on February 16, 1985, in Uvalde, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years of Uvalde; son, David Lee Menchaca of Uvalde;  two sisters, Rosario De Leon and Estela Martinez both of Uvalde; brother, Mario Menchaca of Carrizo Springs; four grandchildren, Evelynn Menchaca, Ennaleigh Menchaca, Eian Menchaca, and Emiah Menchaca; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Juanita Arredondo, Maria Anabelia Valdez, Connie Barron, Sulema Reyna, and Mary Helen Davis; and two brothers, Miguel Menchaca, Jr. and Juan Menchaca.
