Allan Bendler

Allan Rennie Bendler of Uvalde passed away on February 4, 2012 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 54. He was born on December 27, 1957 in Wilmington, Delaware to Clifford and Mary Thompson Bendler. He married Elia Fuentes in Uvalde on November 18, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 11 years stepdaughter, Chris Sandoval of Laredo sister, Dorothy Bendler brother, Clifford Bendler III of Massachusetts sisterinlaw, Elva Leber of Uvalde and brotherinlaw, Gustavo Fuentes of San Antonio special friends Catherine Alderson, Dolores Riojas, Martha Riojas and Humberto Bebe Riojas all of Uvalde and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ray of Hope.
