Alejandro Medina Jr.

Alejandro Medina Jr. of La Pryor, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of ;58.

Alejandro was born on March 9, 1963 in Uvalde to Alejandro and Zulema (Cervantez) Medina.

He married Martha Perez on July 11, 1985 in Crystal City.

Alejandro is survived by his wife of 36 years, Martha P. Medina of La Pryor; two sons, Alejandro Medina III and companion Josie Samarron and Israel Joaquin Medina and companion Serena Cardona all of La Pryor; father, Alejandro Medina Sr. of La Pryor; three sisters, Irene Herrera and husband Saul, Margot M. Perez and husband Robert and Anita Medina all of La Pryor; two brothers, Jose Cervantez of Willmar, Minnesota and Thomas Medina wife, Rosantina of La Pryor; four grandchildren, James Dominguez Jr., Jesse James Dominguez, Jaylynn Dominguez and Sophia Grace Medina; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Zulema C. Medina.

Visitation for Alejandro will start on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A rosary will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in La Pryor. Interment to follow at La Pryor Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alejandro Medina III, Israel Joaquin Medina, Thomas Medina, Tommy Castillo, Adrian Garcia and Joe Guzman IV.
