Adrian Garcia

Mr. Adrian Garcia of Uvalde passed away May 10, 2007 at his residence at the age of 80.

He was born January 27, 1927 in Del Rio, Tx. to Jesus Eufemia Garcia.

He was married to Anita Chapoy in Del Rio on April 30, 1954.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Garcia of Uvalde; daughters, Herlinda Contreras husband, Carlos of Uvalde; Lillian Newport husband, David; Ruth Roman husband, John all of El Paso; son, James Garcia of Dallas; brothers, Jesse Garcia; Edmundo Garcia; Alfonso Garcia, all of California; 7 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Guadalupe Sotelo brother, Encarnacio Valles.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Uvalde at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. Gamaliel Barboza will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Ramon Cano; David Newport; Rene Chapoy; Jonathan Roman; Javier Sanchez; Thomas Dominquez. Honorary pallbearers are Terry Glenn Otoniel Bueno.

Arrangements are by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
