Rojelio Fernandez Torres, went to play football in Heaven on May 24, 2022 in Uvalde, Texas at the age of 10. Rojelio was born on December 6, 2011 to Federico Torres Jr & Evadulia Orta in Uvalde Texas.
Rojelio was an outgoing little boy, he loved life, loved being outside and he always had a smile on his face. He was always eager to help. He had many hobbies but to name a few he loved Pokémon, playing football and playing video games.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Evadulia Orta of Uvalde, Texas; father, Federico Torres of Mexico; maternal grandparents, Evadulia Fernandez of Uvalde, Texas ; Jose Alfredo Orta and Veronica Ibarra of Mexico; paternal grandmother, Teresa Barboza of Mexico; maternal great-grandmother, Teresa Cabello of El Paso, Texas; paternal great-grandfather, Rogelio De Leon of Mexico; sisters, Sara Lee Torres and Mary Fernandez Torres both of Uvalde, Texas; brother, Federico Orta Torres, III of Uvalde, Texas; loving aunts, Precious Perez and Daniel Arredondo of Uvalde, Texas, Eoudulia Orta and Isal Sanchez of Uvalde, Texas, and Veronica Orta of Uvalde, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eoudulia Davila and Samuel Fernandez, Sr.; maternal grandfather, Miguel Orta; and paternal great-grandmother, Alejandrina Valenzuela.
Visitation for Rojelio will be held on Friday June 3, 2022 at Rushing Estes Knowles, from 3:00PM – 9:00PM with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:00PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Rushing Estes Knowles on Saturday June 4, 2022 at 10:00AM with Pastor Jaime Cabralez officiating.
Rojelio will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery following the Funeral Service.
