My family and I express our deepest sympathy. You are all in our prayers. Our memories of Rodrick as a young boy caring for his grandmother, our Aunt Carmen. My mother, Mary Velasquez and my fathers mother, Dionicia Velasquez, always thought the world of Roderick and he always had a smile when we visited. He grew to be a loving and caring man and we are all blessed to known him. May God bless his family during this very difficult time.

Our prayers are with you all, Rod will be missed by us all, he was always there for everybody when we needed help. All my neighbors here in Louisiana send their condolences also, they all remember
Rod from when he came here to help us get our lives together after hurricane Rita, with out a second thought he gave up a week of his time to help our family and even our neighbors that he had never met before. Please be strong and remember that he loved you all very much and we will be praying for God to heal the pain and the hurt that has come to you all so suddenly. The world would be a better place if everyone had a Rodrick in their family.
